Any woman who supports the purposes of CFUW can join our club.
WHAT IF I AM NOT A COLLEGE OR UNIVERSITY GRADUATE?
You are welcome to join if you subscribe to our purposes.
CAN I COME TO A MEETING AND SEE IF CFUW IS THE CLUB FOR ME?
Yes, we’d love to meet you. Come to a meeting and ‘try-us-out’.
WHEN CAN I JOIN?
You can join at any time during the year. The September Meet and Greet meeting is a good one or come to hear a speaker of your choice. See our Program
WHAT IS THE COST TO JOIN?
The annual membership fee is $95. In addition, in recent years, a minimum $40 contribution to the Club’s Scholarship Trust Fund is requested of members in lieu of other fund-raising activities for the Scholarship Trust Fund.
WHAT IS MEMBERSHIP MONEY USED FOR?
A portion of the membership fee goes to both the national and provincial levels of CFUW. The remainder covers the operating costs of our club.
HOW DO I CONTACT THE CLUB?

BENEFITS OF MEMBERSHIP?
- Continue lifelong learning hearing knowledgeable speakers and attending informative webinars
- Fellowship with like-minded women
- Contribute to our CFUW Barrie & District Scholarship Trust Fund which awards annual scholarships to female high school students and a female student in special need
- Contribute to the community through our advocacy work and/or periodic voluntary contributions to local service agencies
- Participation in as many interest groups as the member’s schedule permits, without additional cost, except where the group activity involves a charge e.g. the Lunch Bunch that lunches out regularly
- Form long-lasting friendships
